Brandon Gilbert is a recent graduate of Tennessee Tech University where he majored in instrumental music education. Mr. Gilbert is a native of Church Hill, Tennessee and a graduate of Volunteer High School. While at Tennessee Tech, Mr. Gilbert played saxophone in a variety of ensembles including the Symphony Band, the Wind Ensemble, the Troubadours Jazz Ensemble, the Golden Eagle Marching Band, the Tennessee Tech Saxophone Ensemble, and various saxophone quartets. Mr. Gilbert has also served on executive boards for the Lambda Rho chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, a National Honorary Band Fraternity, as well as the Tennessee Tech University Saxophone Alliance. During the 2019/2020 academic year, Mr. Gilbert was chosen to serve as one of four undergraduate teaching assistants—or “Black Jackets”—for the Golden Eagle Marching Band. Mr. Gilbert is excited to be joining the Lake Braddock band family.
