Tag Day 2010 will be held on Saturday, September 11th, with Saturday, September 18th as the rain date. All Band and Guard students, dressed in their uniforms (but wearing comfortable walking shoes!), will spend the morning canvassing homes within the Lake Braddock School District, asking for tax-deductible donations in support of the band program. The day begins about 7:00 AM when students arrive to check out uniforms, and ends around 1:30 PM with a pizza lunch for students and all volunteers. Our goal is to contact every home in our district (more than 12,000) either in person or by a follow-up mailing. We still need a few more parent volunteers (especially drivers) to support this effort. Follow this link for more information and how you can help on Tag Day

Music and Memories: The alumni concert on January 9, 2010 may be just a memory at this point, but you can still get copies of this incredible performance where where sixty-three of Lake Braddock’s alumni returned for a benefit concert to help raise money for the trip to China. The evening included nineteen individual and small ensemble performances and concluded with three selections by a 61-piece wind ensemble. Click here to order CDs, DVDs and historical collections.
